Diction and Imagery
"He leaned slightly hunched over, with one arm against the counter and the other on his hip. This man looked at me like I had no idea what I was talking about. He had a mean glare, almost as if he could see right through me. He responded to me about four times, three out of the four responses started with, “And you’re sure of this?” I honestly believe to this very day that this client thought he knew my job better than I did.
I choose this section from my division and classification paper. In this small portion of my paper, I thought I did a good job at describing the client that I was attending. I also tried to make my client look like an everyday client. I also tried to give my paper a little voice, which I though I did a good job at. In my papers I try and make a joke about someone or something, every once and a while, and this time it just happen to be my clients.
